Nick is a highly sought-after leadership trainer, both internationally and Australia-wide. With over 36 years of expertise and 8000 training workshops and seminars worldwide, Nick delivers cutting edge educational, leadership, teambuilding and coaching programs; all of which are customised and tailored for each individual company. Nick is renowned for his interactive and lively presentation style, that captures every group at every level. Nick first started his capacity-building career while lecturing at The University of Western Australia in education, leadership, coaching, and worksite health promotion. Nick was consistently the highest-evaluated instructor for the University of Western Australia's Business School in their alliance with the Australian Institute of Management. As a university lecturer, Nick was nominated four times for teaching excellence. During this time he set up innovative and ongoing Corporate Health programs for Argyle Diamond, Telfer Gold Mine, and the Robe River mines at Pannawonica and Wickham.
Upon leaving university lecturing, Nick was Clough's Senior Training and Development Consultant, where he was instrumental in the establishment of the Clough Training College. In this role, he developed leadership programs for all levels of staff. He has been successfully marketing, designing, implementing and evaluating Leadership, Worksite and Community Health Promotion Programs and Professional Development Programs for 25 years.
Major highlights of Nick’s career have included teaching in semi remote areas of Australia at schools where the majority of students were indigenous; being the first white peer group leader in the softly program for juvenile indigenous offenders; peaking Argyle Diamond negotiators over an eight year period; Helping in the initial development of the Health and Fitness services for the mining industry, helping initiate change in companies such as SGS Australia through the medium of education and coaching, being invited as an annual guest lecturer at British Columbia University Executive Programs, Vancouver, over a three year period and serving as assistant Australian Volleyball Coach for eight years.
